What Actually Happens At Your Consultation
A consultation isn't a formality before scheduling surgery — it's where the real decision-making happens. Patient education is something I take seriously: you should never leave a conversation about your body without understanding exactly why a particular option is right for you, not just what it is.
Plastic surgery decisions come down to a mix of two things: your anatomy and your goals. In my experience, it's usually about 80% anatomy, 20% goals — your body sets the real boundaries of what's possible, and your goals decide which of those possibilities is right for you.

Sometimes that means choosing between two procedures that would both work for your anatomy, depending on what matters more to you. And sometimes it means a second consultation, after you've had time to sit with the information. Either way, I'd rather you leave informed than leave fast.
Patients who understand the why behind their plan don't just have an easier time going into surgery — they feel more confident in their decision, period. That's the standard I hold every consultation to.
